With so many books on my shelf, I like to organise every now and again which books I really must get round to reading soon! Usually these are the next in the series as these are always left on cliffhangers. Also more recently, I am interested in reading more different genres apart from young adult and contemporary novels.
The Story of the Lost Child – the much anticipated final book in the Neapolitan novels. After the dramatic ending to the third book, I can’t wait to pick this book up and hopefully it has a great ending.
The Art of Being Normal – Young adult novel following a transgender main character. New
ground for this genre, which I love and I can’t wait to read this book.
Hopefully its insightful and makes this topic more mainstream.
Unwind –
Sci-fi following a world in which unwanted children are unwound, where all
their body parts are donated when they are teenagers. I don’t read much of the
Science Fiction genre, so am intrigued to read this book.
The Ecliptic – I don’t know much about this book but I have heard good reviews
apart from the fact that this book takes place on an island which houses a
retreat for artists.
172 hours on the moon – Also a science fiction book. Apparently its slow reading to begin
with then its intense and hard to sleep afterwards. Although that’s only one
account. Following several teens who ‘win’ the lottery and get a week’s visit
to the moon. What could do wrong, right?
